THE PROBLEM can be simply put: IF the WHITE HOUSE does NOT know WHAT IT IS SAYING, does it know WHAT it is doing? NOT likely. (Ha! Ha!) TALKING that GOES NO WHERE is A WASTE OF TIME. What is THE POINT the speaker wants to make? Members of the American Press go along approvingly with this nonsense which makes it all THE MORE HILARIOUS. And this has been going on "for decades" in American politics. Sadly,
THE AMERICAN PEOPLE are left UNINFORMED about what is going on in the USA. This is THE POLITICAL "TRADITION" NOT just of the USA, but of many allegedly "democratic" governments as well. It is meant to discourage people from asking the Gov't questions. So there is A PERVERSE LOGIC at play here.
