His classical "medieval" Church talk (SILLY TALK) is OUT OF PLACE with today's reality when the Church should be organizing itself to GET RID OF POVERTY in the world and in doing so, SOCIAL+ECONOMIC INJUSTICE which is the way of liberation theology and THE WAY FORWARD for the Church - so that the earthly experience is A FORETASTE OF HEAVEN. WHO is saying this? A HIGH-STANDING VATICAN OFFICAL. This is what is SO SHOCKING! You have to ask yourself: Does THE REST OF THE VATICAN BODY think IN THIS "OUTMODED" WAY? THE REALITY OF THE GOSPEL is the Church TO ACT! (Instead, it SITS ON ITS BUM which is what bureaucrats are know to do: bureaucrats ride THE STATUS QUO - even when they know it does NOT work. WHY?
