I'm afraid this is "unnecessary" posturing by Japan's former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who lost the fight against COVID-19. The Chinese, I'm sure, find his warning laughable. As was explained to me by a high ranking Chinese official in Toronto, Japan is "inconsequential". Why would China "bother" to invade Taiwan in the first place when it doesN'T have to? WHY?!! Taiwan does business, already, "in" China and I suspect they'll keep doing MORE AND MORE BUSINESS IN CHINA. Those living in Taiwan believe, I'm convinced,  that AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF CHINA, their future is going to be VERY BRIGHT! My sense of things is that THE PEOPLE OF TAIWAN ARE *STONGLY* IN FAVOUR OF REUNIFICATION - except for their political leadership who unashamedly "kowtows" to the USA. 中国万岁 :D Ken, Toronto, Canada
