The range of the AGM-28 Hound Dog is "only"  785 miles: NOT FAR BY TODAY'S STANDARD by any stretch. On the other hand, the Russian + Chinese supersonic missiles have a "global" reach, NOT A "MERE" 785 miles. (Ha! Ha!)  THE AMERICANS are NO CONTEST for the Chinese + Russians militarily who have had joint military exercises a little while back.
