The two (2) GUIDING LIGHTS of Europe are "supposed to be" Germany + France [The Germans can RUN France: that goes back to the Vichy days. Ha! Ha!] Anyhow ... WHAT in God's holy name WENT WONG? Let's keep this SIMPLE! :D Merkel believed THE "GREATEST" DESTABLIZING FORCE IN THE WORLD, the USA, were GOOD GUYS. When she was informed the USA was monitoring her phone calls, HER CRAZY REACTION was "We NEED THE AMERICANS". Like A KICK IN ARSE, you do. This is probably when she was a little girl in East Germany (with her father being a Lutheran clergyman), she strongly felt that there had to be GOOD GUYS SOMEWHERE and THAT SOMEWHERE she probably felt was the USA. NOT so. THAT'S on the German side of things. ON THE FRENCH SIDE OF THINGS, the French took THE WRONG TURN when it joined NATO thanks to Sarkozy: a CIA coup. Sarkozy was Paul Desmarais' (Quebec multimillionaire + CEO of Power Corporation) protégé. Washington kept inviting Mr. Desmarais to ensure that he would impress on Sarkozy the need for France to join NATO [which Charles de Gaulle was TOTALLY OPPOSED TO as he knew it would be THE DOWNFALL OF AN INDEPENDENT FRANCE and he was right as we can now BLATANTLY see as THE AMERICANS LEAD THE FRENCH BY THE NOSE, or should I say NATO. :D]. With THAT AS THE BACKSTORY, let's deal with THESE TWO (2) CLOWNS - in my view: Macron + Scholz [two (2) CREEPS, really, as THEY'RE RESPONSIBLE for the Russian invasion into the Ukraine when ALL IT TOOK TO STOP IT was to REFUSE ADMISSION of the Ukraine into the EU + NATO: NOW, they want President Putin to stop it. CONCLUSION: THEY WERE IN FAVOUR OF THE CONFLICT "by stimulating it" by "repeatedly" turning  A DEAF EAR to President Putin's VERY REASONALBE SECURITY DEMANDS of NO ADMISSION OF THE Ukraine into NATO (and, preferably, the EU as well) after talking to him SO MANY TIMES; NOW, THEY'RE NO LONGER IN FAVOUR: this is "A FLIP-FLOP" BY TWO (2) Grade "A" FLUNKIES that are making Europe look RIDICULOUS, if not "THE LAUGHING STOCK", IN THE EYES OF THE WORLD. THEIR PROBLEM is very SIMPLE. THEY'VE COMMITTED THE GREATEST SIN OF DIPLOMACY according to France's greatest diplomat + former prime minister, M. de Vilpin: "the lack of coherence". [HOW MANY TIMES HAVE THEY'VE TALKED to President Putin WITHOUT ACCOMPLISHING ANYTHING. NOTHING! ZIP! Now, Winter is coming down the road + they're going to be in BIG TOUBLE + they want President Putin to spare them THE EMBARASSMENT after wasting SO MUCH of President Putin's time with UNPRODUCTIVE MEETINGS.
