I'm interested in languages and what is "so very neat "re: Korean are its "syllabic blocks". The "other" language feature is that men's voices - like in other Asian languages - are supposed to be "deep" enhancing their "masculinity" while women's voices by contrast are supposed to be "light" in order to better highlight their "femininity": the yin and yang of the sexes. (Ha! Ha!) SEX PERMEATES EVERYTHING - including language.
